Family Services of the North Shore
Family Services of the North Shore is a community organization that is dedicated to providing education, support and counselling to heal and connect the community. They offer a broad range of services to children, youth, adults, couples and families from diverse backgrounds, which are offered either at no fee, or on a sliding scale to clients living or working on the North Shore.
Looking Glass Foundation
The Looking Glass Foundation runs Canada’s first treatment Centre dedicated to adolescents with eating disorders. They run a summer camp, weekly on-line support groups and have a web site full of links and resources on the subject.
Kelty Resource Centre
Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre is a provincial resource centre working to link children, youth and their families with appropriate resources in all areas of mental health and addictions. In addition, as spiritual successors to the Eating Disorder Resource Centre of BC, the centre also provides information and referrals to adults with eating disorders.
National Eating Disorder Information Centre
NEDIC develops and disseminates information and resources on eating disorders and food and weight preoccupation. They also staff a telephone helpline that provides information on treatment or support.
